Students will be creating original podcasts and films using the equipment purchased for the project, and they will have a lot of voice and choice in regards to the content and style of their original pieces. Writing a script for a film or podcast is only the beginning, and with the help of these resources, students will be able to see and hear their words come to life! High quality equipment is essential for producing a high quality product, and to helping students create something they are proud of and are able to submit to competitions such as the California Student Media Festival. As a result, we are requesting a microphone and headphones (with cases) for recording podcasts, as well as an iPad to use to film original scripts (with the help of an iOgrapher film-making case that we won last year in the media festival).
