My students come from a rural area with low socioeconomic backgrounds. They see poverty around them and need to become excited about education so they can break the cycle. Our school is one of the oldest in the area and doesn't have access to a lot of technology or science materials. My class has a lot of potential. Most of my kids just need motivation, something to get them excited about school. My project will help me avoid the dreaded parade of worksheets and see the learning fire lite in the eyes of my students. My class is very hard working and considerate, so I know they will take excellent care of the tools we receive. With the help we receive we will be able to get out of our seats and use each tool as a center. Our room will be buzzing with learning! My class is a mix of Caucasians, Native Americans, and Hispanics. Many of whom are English language learners. Please help me enrich the lives of my students by donating to our project!
