Providing our students with these books will introduce them to new genres and reading levels, and develop a love of reading a new chapter book series. They will be able to learn about different cultures, geography, problems, solutions, adventures, and writing styles. Students with disabilities already find reading challenging, and our school lacks the resources. The students will use these books during guided reading lessons to help build comprehension and fluency, widen their background knowledge and vocabulary, and help foster a love for reading.Students will have the chance to start and finish these beloved children's series such as, Magic Tree House, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Babysitter's Club, and Museum Mysteries.
