Books are rarely seen in math classrooms. My students see many books in their language arts class, social studies class, and even some in their science class. I want to show them that there are many books that they can read about math that are interesting and full of information. The Grade 4-5 Math Library that I have chosen are both non-fiction and fiction books. Students will get to read geometry books, sports math books, books that tie into the Common Core, and many other books. All of the books I have chosen are at or below their reading levels as well so that students will not struggle to read the books I have available. I want reading in my room to be enjoyable and not a task. I hope to get my students interested in the world of math through books.
