I teach Spanish level 1 and 2. We are fortunate to have a set of 40 Chromebooks and microphone headsets to use in the classroom for listening, speaking, writing and comprehension activities. I recently completed my Educational Technology Endorsement and am in the process of enhancing the curriculum by integrating technology i.e. Padlet, PlayPosit, Quizlet, Google Classroom. We also move around a lot in class for different activities. It is difficult for students to transition quickly when there are so many items on their desks. I have noticed we lose time transitioning between activities. My goal is to have a chair sack on each chair and each morning have students put the Chromebooks and headsets assigned for each desk in the chair sack so it is ready for all the students that will use that desk that day. Storing the headsets and Chromebooks in the chair sack will leave space on their desk, ensure the technology is stored safely during the day and facilitate students getting up quickly and moving to another location in the room without knocking things off of the desk.
