These books are going to help me prepare my students for the AP Human Geography exam more than words can express. Our district cut our schedule quite a bit to accommodate distance learning and a transition to hybrid learning, and I am doing my best to cover everything; however, there is only so much time. This book will help students see our key concepts applied through a relevant and interesting lens that we all interact with daily--food! I only get to see my students in quarters one and three, so I am planning to host a book club during quarter two. We will meet weekly over Zoom to discuss the book and apply course concepts to what we have read. I am confident this book can keep them connected to the course concepts in an interesting way during the quarter that we have to spend apart. Students will benefit from these interactions in both academic and social ways. I would love to be able to host this fun learning experience for them, but first, we need your help so we can access the books! I am so grateful to you for helping us with this project!
