We are educating students for jobs that don't yet exist. This is especially true in the fields of STEM, digital technology and robotics. Students need hands-on learning experiences in the classroom, that integrate math, science, and technology together. Innovation and inquiry are natural abilities for gifted students. We are looking to fund computer coded programmable robots in the SAIL classroom. The goal is to have enough robots to allow students as much hands-on experience as possible. It is vital for students to learn to collaborate, to work together and share ideas. Having robotics accessible in the classroom for hands-on, group learning will only make for a stronger connection.
