Prior to Hurricane Harvey in August 2017, my students had access to a Janome Embroidery machine to use in class. Our machine sat in 3 inches of water for a prolonged period of time and was thus ruined. I want to get an embroidery machine back in class so my students can continue that experience. The exposure to such a popular trend can lead to careers for my students in the future. I teach an A & H (Agriculture and Homemaking) type class also. My students create projects to show in our County Fair every January. Having the embroidery machine back in class will be one more great tool for my students to use.
