My request is for new books that I will read to my class. We do already have a growing classroom library. However, these new books will include lessons on grammar, phonics, comprehension skills, life lessons, and leadership qualities, as well as opportunities to express ideas through the writing process. They will also allow exposure to the enjoyment of books, including new ideas, new places and even sometimes laughter! The addition of these new books will allow our classroom to dive more into our curriculum during our ELAR (English, Language Arts and Reading) block. "The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you will go." Dr. Seuss
