We are a new building with an emphasis on Inquiry Based Learning. My students are in my room because they have not found success in the typical classroom and struggle with the learning process as well as social skills. Basic Lego kits and simple machine kits are something that my students will find engaging without realizing that they are contributing to their growth mindset Basic LEGO blocks are already a hit in my classroom and the simple machines kits will take this to a new level. In the future I would like to see my students work on programming skills with the more extensive LEGO kits but for now, I need to give them a basic introduction to machine building and expand their creativity.
