In my health classes, students will use these devices for researching information about nutrition facts, mental health issues, and infectious diseases. They will also be used to create presentations introducing themselves to me at the beginning of the semester so that I will better know my students. In AVID, these devices could help send a student to college. The Chromebooks will be used to research colleges, apply for scholarships, apply for financial aid and apply for colleges. Some of our AVID students do not have internet access at home and this is the place for them to reach for their goals.
