The second-graders coming into my classroom in the fall are readers, writers, scientists and mathematicians. They are wonderers and questioners and they are discoverers. They are learning what the world around them looks like and the stories that are held within it. Second-grade students in this class are ready to start an adventure when they open a book. They are excited to grow and learn as part of the community, both in and out of the classroom. These students are ready to jump into their education and build their skills across curricula to deepen their connections to the lessons and their world.

About my class
