In first grade the biggest percentage of our day is spent reading. I would like my students to have the opportunity to access a variety of reading material beyond their classroom text books. I would like to encourage my students to read and explore real world topics. A magazine subscription would give students the opportunity to access nonfiction material in a way that would be new and exciting. Scholastic magazine would give students the opportunity to read magazines and online articles that bring the world into our classroom. The subscription would also give students more opportunities to learn about social studies and science.

About my class
