These reading materials will make all the difference in our classroom! By adding interesting, grade-level appropriate literature in our library, we will be allowing students the agency to take charge of their own learning. Finding books that are engaging but also educational is no small feat. However, it is extremely important that students - especially in the early middle school years - be given some sort of voice when it comes to literacy. After all, this is how you develop love of reading. It is my hope that by building my classroom library, I will be able to empower children to step out of their comfort zones and try reading and learning about something new.

About my class
