My students are my second family. They are from very diverse backgrounds and from various locations around the world. Many of them speak more than one language and speak it fluently. Some students live in single family homes with a steady income, while others live in apartment homes with limited income. Reading is a struggle as well, as some students read well beyond their grade level yet others barely read enough words to read to a younger sibling. They are respectable young scholars who strive to do well and please those around them.
