These materials will activate all students’ learning needs in our classroom! The students will now have a choice in where they sit. The flex space comfy round carpets will be placed in our math centers along with the flex space comfy floor seats, balance ball chair, and the flex space wobble cushions! This will support their individual learning style when working in math centers, collaborative group work, and completing assignments independently! Technology is constantly growing and changing. Using iPads in the classroom will save money, paper, and individualize their learning. Educational apps are constantly changing to better support students while providing new learning experiences. Using iPads in our classroom would really take learning to a whole new level and be a valuable tool for students to use in our classroom! Also, the iPad cases are very durable and will help protect the iPads from being damaged. The whiteboard will be a great addition behind our horseshoe table and the small group teaching easel will fit perfectly on the table so that we can review skills. This is where students will be in small groups with the teacher and can focus on specific skills with one-on-one support. The white board will help in reviewing skills and the students’ will follow along using their own personal white boards! Currently, our math classroom is missing a very important component; a pencil sharpener! We would love to utilize the X-ACTO electric pencil sharpener in our classroom that will make pencils nice and sharp! My students and I greatly appreciate your support in funding this project! We are very excited to add these new additions in our constantly growing classroom! Thank you!
