My students average reading score is below grade level. I hope that providing a range of books in the classroom will encourage them to read more often. The more options they have the more likely it is that they will find a book they love. It just take the right book to catch a child's interest and make them fall in love with reading forever! I want fun lower level chapter books so that the students feel capable and enjoy reading. I want every student to be able to read chapter books (at their level) because it will help their reading self-esteem.
