Students will be able to choose a learning environment that appeals to them and gives them the most freedom. Flexible seating allows students to thrive in the setting that best fits them. I currently have tables that are too small for my 5th graders. I tried some flexible seating last year, such as on the floor and a Bubble chair, and saw great improvements in my student's work. The stability balls are a great way for students who need extra movement during learning. It permits them the stimulation they need in order to focus. The Empire Bubble chairs allows students who like to snuggle up, to work the opportunity to do that. I bought one this year to try it out and it was the most popular spot in the whole room. This chair worked great for those students who like to put their feet under them while they work. Since my colleague and I team teach, using the Space Mobile Storage Cart and Bins allows students a central place to store materials. Furthermore, it can be easily moved to accommodate the learning environment of the room.
