My students are in a functional academic curriculum track class in a middle school. They need to practice life skills in cooking and putting food items together for a meal. Many of my students do not get the experience at home to help learn how to cook and parents don't have time to do this, so I want to start my lessons on cooking. My students need visual step by step cookbooks for non readers, timers, food supplies such as flour, pasta, beans, rice, cookie mix, and tomato sauce to make nutritious food. They will learn math skills to help them plan meals, and to calculate the cost per serving to help them budget their expenses when they are older. They will follow step by step visual cookbooks to make dough, pasta, sauces, soups, and countless other recipes that will help them make basic meals. They will collect recipes to make their own cookbooks to use at home. Help me make this possible for my students by helping fund this project.
