My current classroom has a carpet, chairs and tables. My new classroom will have comfortable and flexible seating options for students to be able to work individually or in groups. The new furniture will provide my students the ability to open their mind up to responsible seating options to complete their academic work in order to meet the high expectations that are set for them daily. Think about it, would you rather complete your work in a hard chair, that you are bored and tired in...or in a comfortable bean bag, on a couch, or comfortably at a table? Students should have the same choices in their daily activities. It will show them a love for learning, experiences and academia. With seating choices in the classroom students will be able to retain more information, access more material, and stay focused on assignments.
