I teach a class of 22 incredibly intelligent, adorable, hard-working wonderful children in a low-income suburb of Washington, DC. Although my classroom is relatively well supplied and I have gotten many donations from friends and family, I am still missing some important key items in certain centers in my room. Center-based learning is an incredibly important part of a Pre-K class, since it is well documented that children of this age learn best from play and self-exploration. However, without the necessary materials, centers cannot be the enriching and exciting areas of learning they need to be to help children learn. Please help my students get the learning experience they deserve by donating these few key items that we are requesting for our classroom.

About my class
