I teach a class of 21 bright-eyed first graders in an urban school district. Most of my children come from low economic environments in which there is only one parent in the home. However, my students are very motivated to learn and succeed. They also love to go outside. However, the equipment on our playground was removed due to safety issues. Therefore, I am in great need of materials to use with my students.
