My students come from a variety of diverse backgrounds and face a variety of challenges on an everyday basis. They come from different cultures, socio-economic backgrounds, and a variety of academic levels. I teach four classes including two classes with exceptional children. Though not all of them have the easiest road to travel, we try to make school a fun, safe, and exciting place to learn and grow. I work at a school where over 70% students qualified for free and reduced lunch last year. Many students’ only access to computers and technology is at school. Though they only get limited access, my diverse student population loves using computers to make class more engaging and exciting.
