My students need a flexible, yet clearly defined learning environment. A horseshoe table will allow my students to learn in a group setting while using the K'motion chairs to allow movement during the lesson. I can work with small groups of students at the horseshoe table, which providing direct instruction to the specific needs of my students. The students in my classroom are on the autism spectrum and they have a variety of needs. They learn best in an environment which they are able to move and fidget as often as their sensory needs demand. My students learn best when their body is moving, and having flexible seating will allow my students that freedom.
