Printed tools, materials and worksheets are utilized every single day in my classroom. I am constantly navigating through my computer to locate and make changes to previously created files. These tools assist me in most directly reaching the countless, individual learning needs of all of my students. Rather than having to wait for my print job on the printer that is utilized by the entire staff (in a K-8 building- mind you), this HP OfficeJet 3830 All-In-One Inkjet Printer and HP multi-pack of ink cartridges will provide my students much easier access to endless learning opportunities. I will be able to print differentiated resources from sites such as ReadWorks.com, ReadingA-Z.com, and Achieve3000.com. These sites offer differentiated instruction to be able to reach the various learning levels of each of my students. The Staples 9.5" Thermal & Cold laminating machine and the appropriate pouches will allow me to give my students just-right tools that are permanent, to aide in utmost success towards becoming lifelong learners. Additionally, an easel will allow for us to better display anchor charts during reading and writing lessons. It will also increase student participation, by allowing my students to portray their work in a space, accessible to all eyes.
