A weighted blanket is essential to a special education classroom. It provides compression to the students central nervous system that helps them de-escalate their behavior when it starts to get out of their control. This allows them to take control of their own behavior and become more independent which is a beautiful and amazing thing. As their teacher, it is my job to provide my students with everything they need to become successful. Unfortunately, I have a limited paycheck that does not allow me to provide the most essential materials for my students. With your help, I can provide my students with the keys to success!

About my class
