We are in need of a new document camera. Our last one is not compatible with the new system and there are students who need it for enlarged print. The folders are for data collection so the students can graph and understand their reading progress as we work towards end of year goals. The cards are used at home with the students so they can work on multiplication, addition, and subtraction math facts with games we teach them to play. The science kits are to deepen their knowledge of rocks, a third grade expectation, in an exciting hands-on way. Studies show that hands-on science increases understanding and excitement in the subject area so kids learn more and are more inclined to enter a science field. By donating to this project, you are helping educate and inspire the next generation through science and mathematics while teaching them determination in achieving their goals and giving them the tools necessary to meet those goals.
