It can be difficult to find materials to use in kindergarten that really keep them engaged. The Code & Go Robot Mouse and Botley the Coding Robot will not only engage them, but also introduce them to the world of coding. STEAM is so important in schools, but on limited budgets, it is difficult to get these items into their hands. We have recently become a one-to-one classroom with iPads, and it has been really great seeing the engagement and excitement when learning how to use new apps and all of the things they can do with this technology. I also teach an after school gifted program where the students have been asking to have more hands-on learning materials that push them. I am trying to build up a collection of materials that will push them, engage them, and expand their knowledge and understanding of the world around them.
