I am beginning a new curriculum with my students which allows me to foster the reading skills of my students. Students will become fully engaged in novels and gain a better understanding of how to become an active reader. My fourth graders love to read, and these books, Love That Dog, are exactly what they need. The novels this project provides will place a book in the hand of every student in my class. Students will use the novels daily as we explore the content. The curriculum I will use with the novels will also emphasize writing skills that are much needed in today's classroom.
