Due to the high number of my students living in poverty, many of them don't believe that they can get out and do something bigger and better for themselves. My class specifically is meant to help them overcome those thoughts and find what gets them excited about learning. With these college and military banners, pennants, and t-shirts hanging around the room they will see more options for their future that they might not have known about otherwise. While researching colleges and careers, seeing the banners around the room will help give them an idea of colleges and universities that are outside of our state.

About my class
