I am first year Special Education Teacher for grades Pre-K to Kindergarten. Student enter my classroom at the tender age of four and stay with me for three years. It is a self-contained classroom. Self contained classrooms are classrooms specifically designated for children with disabilities. Self contained programs are usually indicated for children with more serious disabilities who may not be able to participate in general education programs at all.
