I'm really excited about this project. We use every inch of space in our classroom to learn and work. The meditation cushions and seating mats will be perfect for kids to use while working with partners and playing games on the floor. The balance balls will let them move, bounce and build strong core muscles all while learning and having fun. Flexible seating in our classroom will give my kids the opportunity to move, make choices, and get cozy. All this will help them concentrate more, learn more and create a classroom environment that they love and look forward to being in. The more comfortable they are physically, the more they will retain mentally. My ultimate goal is to push my students to learn more and challenge them to push themselves so that they can reach what they think is the unreachable. That begins with being comfortable and what better way to start than with flexible seating! The reading comprehension games will be used by the students to improve their reading skills while having fun.
