Snacks are an essential part of our daily schedule. Students are usually hungry at the end of the day and snack time helps them to make it until time to go home. It helps them to focus better and also serves as an incentive for good behavior. Most of my students are unable to afford snacks, so most of them do not bring a snack. I would like to be able to offer each child in my classroom a snack daily. These snacks would serve as a beneficial need in our classroom and as well as a fun treat! Many of my students rely on school food to get fed, and many receive donations from the backpack program. They desperately need to be fed between meals!
