These books will make a huge impact on my students because it will allow them to have a wide variety to choose from. Presently, we have very few books in our classroom and the books we do have are not books that are on my students level. These books will be used for individual reading, buddy reading, and also occasionally for reading aloud by the teacher. The Elephant and Piggie books make great read alouds and students love them. Learning to read is a very important component in Kindergarten. This is difficult to do when you do not have a good collection of books in your classroom. Every classroom should have a wide variety of books to choose from that appeal to everyone. These books should also have a varied range of ease to difficulty.
