Technology is a huge part of our classroom! With 5 new tablets, students will be able to navigate through numerous educational apps like Imagine learning, smarty ants, ABCYA, ABC mouse, sumdog and mobymax. Students will be able to practice reading, writing and math in a fun and engaging way. My ESL students will also benefit through the use of colorful visuals and vocabulary building games. With short attention spans, I need to use creative learning techniques to keep them focused and motivated to learn. Tablets add an element of fun and students will learn and retain skills without even realizing it. These tablets will be used throughout the day as a center. Students will be able to independently work while gaining new skills and practicing skills learned during whole group instruction.
