I am requesting donations to fund a classroom set of tablets (with keyboards). With these tablets, students will be able to work on forums as simple as GoogleDrive (for quick, immediate feedback on their writing) to interactive learning tools like FlipGrid. The school is categorized as a Title I school, so many of my students struggle to access the materials and tools needed to aid in their learning; because a majority of my kids do not have access to technology, tablets are the most cost-efficient items for the most number of students. Students have voluntarily chosen to attend a STEM school in order to access the opportunities that will better prepare them for the future. In a world where digital technology is rapidly advancing, I think it is important to equip my students with the critical skills needed to be prepared for their world after high school. Therefore, your donation and contribution would help students access the technology to make their learning fun, innovative, and exciting!
