I teach two above-grade level reading classes every day to some amazing third graders. I use only novels to teach my students to learn the reading objectives and expand their love for reading. My students are extremely curious about what is happening in our current novel or which novel we will read next in class. I use these novels to pique their interests, increase their reading level, and encourage them to become lifelong readers. I already have a unit created for this novel, The Chocolate Touch. I am in need of the actual student books for this unit to become part of my current reading curriculum.
