Study carrels and expo erasers will help both the students and me with the daily organization of our middle school classroom. My students will use the study carrels to help maintain focus on their independent daily assignments (technology based, written, reading comprehension, etc) without the distractions of their neighbors. The colorful paper bags will be used in our social studies class trading simulation activity. In this simulation, middle school students will barter, sell and/or trade products. This hands on activity will teach the importance of economic concepts related to the various countries of the world (as pertain to our Georgia social studies standards).
