I am getting ready to start my first year of teaching second grade and I am looking forward to introducing flex seating to my students. I want my students to find comfortable ways to do work in the classroom, stay calm, and to create a more student- centered classroom. By offering my students a flexible seating, I believe that students will be more engaged. Even as a first year teacher I know that a more engaged a student is the better. Flexible seating also allows to students to have more control over their work environment, allow students to move which lessens distractions, as well as give students a more comfortable option that the normal school chairs.

About my class
