We are starting a new curriculum this year "Maine Kids Rock" an initiative sponsored by the Maine Department of Education and "Little Kids Rock" to bring modern band to music programs. This curriculum funds all teacher training, curriculum materials and credits toward instruments. Due to the large number of students in our music classes, the initiative will not provide enough instruments for all students. Music instrument instruction is best achieved hands-on. It's important that every student be able to have an instrument in-hand during instruction time. With your help, we can fund the remaining number of guitars needed to really help these Maine kids ROCK!
