The majority of students this project will serve are English Language Learners. These nonfiction books will help build my students’ English vocabulary. These books will help my students bridge gaps in their language learning, as well as content learning. These books will help my students experience things they would not have the opportunity to otherwise. Not many of my students have the opportunity to go see many new places such as the North or South Pole. Or to encounter authentic German or Indian cuisine. Many do not know about great leaders throughout history such as Abraham Lincoln. Through this project my students will learn about these things and share their knowledge with others.
