Some of my students need to keep moving to stay focused on the task at hand. They will often sit on their chairs in an unsafe way, including resting their legs between the seat and chair back, rocking, or leaning back. The bands and wobble seats will provide a way to keep moving without reminders about their position or posture. The items I selected are portable and can be moved easily to accommodate students in both of my classes. I hope to slowly replace most of the chairs in my classroom, so they may all benefit from more activity while learning.
