Currently, my classroom has 0, yes 0 Listening Centers. Having a successful and amazing Listening Center in my classroom will change the way that my children are able to experience books. A Listening Center will allow my students so many more opportunities to get engaged and excited about reading and learning every single day. Although many of the students in my class struggle with reading and writing on their own, having an audio version that they can listen to and follow along with helps put a smile on even the most struggling students face, help them to feel more confident, independent and to be successful! The opportunity to hand a child a book, a pair of headphones, a CD audio tape, and the ability to see their eyes light up and the smile on their face is the most priceless, amazing gift anyone could ever ask for!
