If this project is funded my kids will have the opportunity to learn how to not only learn to play the keyboard but also how to care for it. As a teacher who utilizes the Little Kids Rock curriculum in my classroom students would get to learn music that they already have a connection to and hear on the radio. I believe that keyboard is a great instrument to start our kids on because it can be easily modified to suit the needs of each individual learner. I will often pair my students up on the keyboard to help them practice collaboration and communication, which are vital 21st century skills.
