The wobble chair and chair bands on the list are both items I believe will help my students with special needs maintain focus. We are always looking for ways to help students keep their attention on their learning and items like these can be very effective. I know every student will appreciate having the chair band at their seat to be able to move their feet without disturbing anyone else in the classroom! I want to give the students some fun new ways to do their math practice. With the individual whiteboards on the list, maybe "showing their work" can be fun instead of a chore. Having boards both with and without the XY coordinate axis will help as we work through math examples. I love the idea of each student having all the supplies they need to practice our new concepts on their own. I plan to do some speed work on the boards as well because a bit a competition can often liven things up a bit.
