These tablets will be able to store digital audio workstations for children to create and distribute their own musical masterpieces. Industry standard programs such as Garage Band, Fruity Loops, and Logic Pro are now so affordable that they have revolutionized the concept of the mobile recording studio. Students will have the ability to write, record, edit, and produce their own music. The tablets will also allow me to monitor assessments using interactive games and trainers, and keep data on every student. The technology can also be used to drill music theory concepts such as sight reading, rhythm, and can also introduce music production. I chose the Acer ICONIA ONE tablet due to its costs and ease of use for students.
