I am looking for classroom furniture that will make my 5th graders want to stay in their reading center. My students will be excited to practice their reading stamina in a "read to self" area that is flexible, relaxing, and feels (almost) like reading at home. To add to this, we need chairs, bean bags, and a classroom carpet. This is very important because as a teacher, I want nothing more than to have students LOVE reading and look forward to this time in their schedule. These materials will provide my students with a comfortable literacy area that will make them excited to read. It will be nice to give my students a break from their seats while they get the opportunity to relax and curl up next to a good book. These areas will also be a nice spot to practice in small groups, and will provide a more relaxing and comfortable learning environment.
