The goal of our book club is to read new, contemporary YA novels featuring people of color and other marginalized groups! THE HATE U GIVE will be one of the books our club will read together. Our club is student-run and teacher-facilitated. Our students study reviews before selecting the books they wish to read, set reading schedules, create discussion questions, and (when possible!) seek opportunities to meet the authors! By engaging in discussion around THE HATE U GIVE, my students will learn more about themselves, each other, and the world they will someday lead! Please help expand the minds and hearts of my BRILLIANT readers!
