These students will benefit from being able to sit in areas in the room other than their desks. In addition, these chairs allow them to sit in different ways, creating a comfortable atmosphere for learning to occur. The bean bag chairs and swivel stools will greatly help students focus during instruction and independent learning. The mobility of these items enhances the ability of students to collaborate with others during group activities, and facilitates a positive classroom environment. Students will be encouraged to move the seating around the classroom to areas that are most conducive for their learning. These may mean they prefer to sit in a large group or take the seating to a quiet corner. Regardless of their preferences, all students will benefit from choice seating!
