Reading is FUNdamental and an English Language Arts classroom wouldn't be complete with a mini-library to encourage students to read more. Currently, the collection of books in my library were donated by parents and other teachers. Although some are great titles, I want my students to be exposed to a diverse group of authors from different backgrounds, diverse protagonists, and a range of genres in my library. As a Blended Learning teacher, I created a reading nook in my classroom and used my shelves for a classroom library. I will use this space for a reading station during my blended learning activities. I purchased floor seats and a coffee table to provide my students with a comfortable place to read and work.
